EVie Announces Targeted Pricing Adjustments from 1st March

EVie has confirmed that from 1st March, it will introduce targeted pricing adjustments across selected vehicles within its A2A (round-trip) fleet.

The changes follow continued increases in operating costs, including energy, insurance, vehicle maintenance and staffing. The review has focused on larger and premium vehicles, where costs are highest, while maintaining clear and predictable pricing for customers.

EVie confirmed that the adjustments are limited in scope and designed to ensure the long-term sustainability of the service while keeping transport flexible and accessible.

There will continue to be:

  • No seasonal pricing
  • No hidden charges
  • Clear pricing shown before booking
  • Off-Peak options to support flexible travel

The company says the move ensures it can continue investing in fleet reliability, availability and expansion across the islands.

Nick Perchard-Rees, CEO of EVie, said:

“Everyone understands that costs have increased over the past few years, from insurance to energy to the everyday costs of running a business. We’ve absorbed as much as we responsibly can, but to keep EVie strong and sustainable, some targeted adjustments are necessary.

“What hasn’t changed is our belief that transport should be flexible and affordable. We’ve been very deliberate in keeping pricing clear, fair and accessible, while ensuring we can continue investing in the service.

“The cost of owning a private vehicle continues to rise, insurance, servicing, depreciation. EVie gives people a genuine alternative. You only pay for a vehicle when you need one.

“We’re proud of the role EVie plays in helping reduce the cost of living, reduce the cost of ownership and support a cleaner public transport system. This is about building something sustainable for the long term, and continuing to Transform Transport across the communities we serve.”

EVie continues to expand its electric fleet and support thousands of trips each year.
